Default Forks

Hi, advice required. Will the forks from a 1999 CBR900RRX fit straight onto a 1998 CBR900RRW as a direct replacement? Many Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give.

Yes, everything between RR-X and RR-W is compatible.

Somewhat along the same lines. Where can I find information on what the 3 letters stand for in the OEM part numbers as in
45220-MAE-000 (95 front rotor)
45220-MZ7-000 (96 front rotor)
all the other numbers are the same.

OK Stynk here we go. try this page. http://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/BHondaPCNs.htm. this has all classes of part numbers and classifications from 1966 to 1998. worth a look.
