Footpeg Vibration
Hello All,
New guy here coming from an 01 ZX9 to an 98 900rr, 18k miles, full Yosh exhaust and jetted. Gotta say the CBR is so much more comfortable and outperforms the kawi in all areas. I noticed today sometimes i feel this vibration in the footpegs randomly. It does it in any gear, speed, while accelerating and coasting as well. I'ts like a constant but light thud feeling on the pegs. Seems to come and go. Is this normal? Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks

its a rigid mounted motor, so you're going to get some vibration. shouldn't be that bad, just enough to feel it.
if you notice that it happens at the same RPM range in every gear, sync the carbs at that rpm. it will smooth it out....

Thanks to all for the input. It feels like an engine or transmission vibration that is being felt through the frame and out toward the footpegs. Everything is tight and how it should be with the pegs, just hoping its not a engine or trans. problem about to get worse. Sometimes I don't feel it for days then it will return out of the blue. Strange.
