Default Fairing inserts

I dont know if any of you seen this but, i have on a few times seen CBR 900RR with looks like mesh grill inserts in the fairings, you know where the triangle looking holes are, in there, is that a coustom part or does a company makes it somewhere. if anyone know can you send me details on where and how i can get some.

I have seen the inserts you are talking about.They are like stainless steel or aluminum mesh.I have seen them on Ebay not to long ago, maybe you can look on there .

I did look but i am not really sure what you call them, so i didnt see any,

Yeah it is something like that, i'll check pep-boys but i wonder how you install it inna place where its not meant to be, guess i have to come up with a little engineering.

I'd cut it to size , bend it to the right shape , run a bead of silicone adhesive around the opening and set it in there till it dries.

Should hold it just fine and still allow you to pull it off if you deceide to down the road.

Hey Thanks for the tip i just ordered a small sheet (12x48) well see how it turns out, will post pictures soon.

They make the pre formed fit kits for the busa's and just have you run jb weld or an epoxy on the edges

I just checkout out your pictures, yes that is what i am talking about, what did you use, and thats a sick streach; how many inches and how does it handle on the street.
