Default dyno your 893cc??

anyone dyno'ed their 893cc yet?? i had mine done yesterday and it seems LOW for some reason....

107 HP at the rear wheel.. he did another 900 and it read like 112???? WTF??


that was without the bottle!

Maybe something from the swap lowered your WHP a bit. Do you have the carbs professionally tuned after you added the pods? Is your exhaust can the RR or F2 can??

yeah i dont know whats going on.. i did have a shop tune it and the pipe is for a RR.

Stock..the 919cc was rated at 112rwhp.(on a 99) Obviously an 893cc will be lower all things being equal. There are too many factors to say exactly what is wrong if anything. It's an old motor man.........Sounds like you have an exhaust on it? It could probably be jetted a little better, or like "more" said.......it could be getting lost in the drivetrain after the swap? Put hotter cams in it. Bigger carbs, a big bore kit, hell the list is endless. I'd say you still have a pretty healthy "sleaper" of a bike either way.

ok then that makes sense,i thought the 919 was alot more.. but yeah for the age of the motor and the hell that it was prob. put through that sounds right...
now i need to get a run on the dyno with the nos and see the difference, then comes the real engine work!
