Does your 900rr lift the front wheel on take off?
Today I got a really nice surprise from my '93 900rr.
I was at a dead stop, at a stop sign and about to turn right.
As I'm about to turn right, I see some jerkweed walking across the street and blocking my path. I didn't mind waiting for him, but this guy was a young punk and for whatever reason I guess he was jealous since he was walking and I was riding, he started to stare at me in a bad way.
So, rather then wait for jerkweed to finish crossing the street completely, I safely ride around him and twist the throttle.
I must have been upset because I think I twised the throttle a lot....and suddenly I felt the front wheel rising off the ground.
This has never happened to me before and I smoothly and quickly eased off the throttle and brought the wheel back down.
I'm glad I didn't get into a tank slapper because when the wheel was rising, I was just coming out of that right turn and the handlebars were slightly canted to the right when the wheel was in the air.
Is this pretty normal for our bikes?

It's even nicer to get that bike leaned over and drag a knee on it.

I'm still getting used to the power of the bike, since my last one was a VFR 750 and the one before that a 600f2

I never knew my bike had it in her and was blown away to feel it wheelie, even if it lifted just a little.
I dunno how high it would have gone had i kept the throttle on!

pretty much all rice rockets do that...

That bike had very little low-end though so I doubt I could've raised the front just by giving it throttle and no clutch.
