Default cbr900rr fuel/carb issue page two

hello, i just joined to pick some brains, im building a 900rr powerd off road buggy for someone the engine is all fitted and wired in but im getting no spark no matter what i try its driving me up the wall. So i just want to test for power and earths but i want to double check with people that will know exactly what i should be getting and where.

so from what i can figure out at the cdi i should have:
black/white -12v
green/white -earth
light green -earth
green -earth

yellow/blue - to coil
blue/yellow - to coil

yellow - pulse generator
yellow/white -pulse generator

at the coils:
black/white - 12v
yellow/blue - should these be switched earth?
blue/yellow -

at pulse generator:
between yellow and yellow/white -494 ohms

Anything else i should check/messure? i have tried known good coils off my cbr nc23.

any help would be really appreciated

someone must know where there should be power and where not? i think the cdi is right just not sure about the coil circuit. i know it should have one 12v feed to each coil but what should the other read?
switched earth?
im getting 12v?
theres no shorts to live or anything and the cable has continuity so is there a fault with the pulse generator?

Not sure if this helps or not. Things I'd look for are the neutral safety switch and the side stand switch. These will also kill the ignition if not wired....

If no one else replies with the info you need by the time I pull the damn motor again, I'll hook a meter up before I tear down and give you any info you need- The fact that you need to have the tank off to just go and get the info is where peeps are stalling out on being able to help you- These bikes either run, or don't. if they run, then they aren't coming apart for CHIT! Or, if they're not, then it's probable the electrical sys thats to blame- (no help there)

hi guys thanks for the responces. manged to get it to run turns out in the end all the wirring was fine, it was running the buggy battery and i think it was a combination of the battery being a little small and not 100% charged that stopped it sparking. Put the battery on charge n let it boil over and it sparked!

Had it running looks and sounds all sorts of wrong, need a fuel pump now as it cuts out once it has used fuel from float bowls. will get a video sorted soon.

coming along well just waiting on a clutch cable from venhill and a fuel pump its currently running but then cuts out once it has used the petrol that was in the carb float bowls. hopefully have it finished soon, next on the list is chopping the roof off! how do you post videos on here? i tried to post one of it when i first got it running.

cheers
