First you will need to locate the brass screw under each carb boot. you will have to start by removing the one from cylinder one and screw the hose connection in it. The instruction will tell you what do from there to calibrate the Cync.tool. Just a heads up, one hose go to cylinder # 1 and connect in a small white plastic thing with 5 or 6 nipples on it and all the other hoses goes from the sync tool tothat plastic thing.Start the engine and sync. the tool. When this is done you have to remove all the brass screw under from the cylinder head ( they are under the carb boots. The instruction will tell you wich hose go the the cylinder #1,2,3,4. Then the only things left to do is to start the motor and sync the carbs.

Alright, well first off there is a small screw under each carb, that threads into a port on the cylinder head runner. You remove these screws and then thread in the supplied adapters that will come with your Sync Gauges. Your number 3 cylinder is your base cylinder, meaning that it has no adjustment and the other three cylinders must be adjusted to match whatever its vaccumn reading is. Really there is no order for which guages go where, they all do the same thing, just put them in order so that its not confusing. Also, as you adjust any one carb it will throw off the others so make small adjustments so you don't continually overshoot your mark. Blip the throttle when your close and see where the readings settle down into. Be careful with the auxiliary tank as many brands are crap and will leak. Be sure to put all the screws back into their ports when you remove the tool and cap the first cylinder port fitting if it is not a screw, which some models do not have. Its really easy, and the tool will pay for itself after two or three seasons. Good luck.
