Antifreeze
It never freezes here, so I use coolant..
I think there are two properties that you need to have going on.. Firstly of course is an additive that will stop the water in the radiator from freezing.. Just as importantly there needs to be a corrosion inhibitor in the mix...
On my race car we use simple distilled water, which keeps things just a few degrees cooler than with any chemical blend..
I have only seen a high of 91 degrees on my temp guage, so im guessing my coolant is doing its job..It came from the Yamaha store..!

i use honda premix. the 900 i got from my buddy always ran warm so im thinking about using engine ice or something like it. w/out the fairings on the bike i know she will run even hotter.
they used to say to stay away from auto antifreeze b/c of the corrosion protection. then auto makers went to using aluminum radiatiors and other aluminum parts. i would guess that it wouldnt make any difference now with the newer antifreeze blends.
