adjustable ignition advancer

Default adjustable ignition advancer

I bought one new on ebay today for 20 bucks but it dont come with instructions. dose anybody know wich line is retard and wich is advance i found that every one line is 5 degrees of advance but it gose retard to. i guess my question is what line do i start with to get it to 0 degrees so i can go from there i know there is alot of advance threads but none are adjustable there fixed advancers here is the advancer im guessing the middle line is 0?

Never dealt with an adjustable one, only a fixed. I would guess that left from center is retard and right is advance, with the center being 0 degrees. That is purely a guess though!

thanks i cant find any info on it any where so i will just have to start in the middle if that dont work i will go another route

I ran a 4 degree fixed on my RR, With a jet kit and K&N and slip on. 4 degree might be a good starting point, My mechanic says it's best to adjust yours for best power gains on a dyno
