I say death wobble, that may be extreme. My 93, and another 93 I've been on have had "vibrations" with hard braking from say around 110 or so. That isONLY under hard braking, and I still roll with the 16" I just have gotten used to it. Sorry if I generated a misconception. And alpha sorry for leading the thread off topic a bit.RIDE RED

Were those vibrations with the squishy stock brake lines?

Since the post already been off topic, just want to continue with it.

You guys (gixxer, CH & spirit) had been into tracks, I just want to knowwhether the rr is really good in twisties cause I feel the bike is massive and heavy. Hows do you guys cope up with the weight?
Whatsetup did you had for your suspensiongixxereater? I guess it should be hard settings.

Thanks spirit, ....killer or eater doesn't matter; he has been a good feeder

According to the spec, the preload for both front and rear are very stiff; guess it won't be suitable for daily street ride, I still prefer to go on the soft side and where it won't kill my ***.

For the track I found that setting it as soft as possible with out bottoming under acceleration or braking or cornering worked best for mine. It was still pretty stiff. Preload front was one line showing/ back was one back from full(ramped style adjuster). Rebound and comp were both 1.5 turns out from full in at rear.
Front Comp was 1/4 out from full in and rebound was 1 out from full in.
Tire pressure was 32F and 30R with Dunlop 208ZR and with Dunlop Q's.

This was set up for me and me only. My brother could ride it like that but thought it was stiff. He's about 20lbs lighter. I'm 210lbs with full gear. This set up still had a bit much of front end dive under HARD braking for my taste but you could pin the **** out of the throttle exiting the corner and it would just bite hard!!! The drive out of the corner was amazing and traction was never comprimised. It never ran wide or did anything that would seem to be unsettling. Quite simply, it rocked for me. I'm sure a licensed racer would find problems with it but I'm pretty sure I'm not to that level of riding to uncover those faults.
I never changed my settings from the track to commuting to touring and while if you hit a nasty hole in the road it would pitch you up off the seat, it was not too bad. Stiff, and not the most compliant, but tolerable.

The GSXR 750 had a very good reputation. What do you think of the ZX 7R? Same class?
