Speaking from personal experience; I rode a '94 F2 for ten years before I upgraded to a '93 900RR, which is my current bike. I thought my F2 was fast so needless to say, I was shocked at how much faster my 900RR is. I've had it for about 2 years now and still am very afraid of it (which I believe is a good thing). One big difference you should notice is that you shouldn't have to downshift one or two gears to pass someone on the 900RR like you used to have to do on your F2.
