Default 96 900RR chain

I've seen kits for racing/stunting modifications, but I'm looking for a replacement chain kit with both spockets that is STOCK. Does anyne know where I can get the kit? Bikebandit seems clueless and only carries each as a separate component.

For that matter. . .what is stock for a 96 CRB900? Is is it a #525 o-ring chain with 16T/43T sprockets?

Thanks!

Stock is 16/43/530.
Here is a stock replacement only it is a 16/43/525. Honestly, I would by a -1 kit personally. It is a big improvement in acceleration and changes RPM at cruising speeds very little. But here is the stock one.

THANKS! Just what I needed.

At the risk of sounding stupid. . .what is a "-1" kit? Does it refer to the lack a tooth on one or both of the sprokets? Something like 15T and 42T ? If YOU think it's better, then I'll take your advice and order it instead. . just need a link. Right now, my chain is in very poor condition and I fear it may strand me at the least or kill me at worst. If an x-ring chain is better, perhaps I shoudl get that instead of an o-ring chain? What do you think?

Hell, yup, I sure did reply too fast. Im kind of thread whoring today until the race starts.

There is a -1 520 conversion kit. Yeah, the -1 is -1 on the front sprocket. This will give you a 15/43/520 chain. The O-Ring chain is fine as far as Im concerned. I've never used the X-or WRX or anything like that so I cant say for sure if they are better or not. They offer the same kit I have above in a Gold chain if you so desire. Doesnt make any diff, just looks gold. These are handy because they come pre sized with the right amount of links for each bike. I think it's a good deal. I used to run stock gearing all the time and though I'd try it as I'd heard alot about it. MAN.......what a difference. You will know instantly when you take it for the first ride. And it's not a radical change so driving it everyday isnt a burden either. I just did a 1700 mile weekend tour with some friends and it was fine for highway riding. And, it gets better gas mileage now. Av 52mpg now up from 47mpg before the switch. Anyway, let me know if you have any Q's.

****>........I had it all typed out and closed the wrong window. I have a 99 900RR with crappy Corbin seat (better now that i redid it with high density foam) and a ZG Double Bubble. Take a rain suit, you'll want it. Otherwise, it was pretty decent. We would ride for probably 1.5 hours between fillups and smoke breaks. Take a 15min break at gas ups and it's not too bad. Oh, and sportriding gloves make ****ty wet weather gloves. It's well worth it. I'll up load some pics of what my bike looks like loaded down.
