Hello everyone i'am new to this site. I have a 95 900RR and i installed some new gauges 2 weeks ago and last week my spedo decided to jump around for a mile then it quit working completly, Does anyone know what happend??

Check if the cord that goes from your gauge to the front wheel is still connected to both ends. Also, check if it's broken, which is most likely the case...

Thanks man, But my bike does not have a spedo cable, Only the 1993 and 1994's have them!

 

Are you sure about that? I'll check that with Clymers user manual (cbr900 from '93 to '99)... I still think that you should have a speedo cable. Check the back side of your gauge. It has to have some cable to it, in order for it to work...

I'll check the manual and let you know tomorrow.

 

the 95's DONT have a cable, but check the wiring and then check the connectors then any fuses that you may encounter, and then read your service manual, and if you dont have one, i got one i can sell ya or just buy one, it will save you soooo much hassle.
