95 cbr 900rr clutch question

how long are the clutch springs supposed to be? theres 5 of them. and what would cause a tapping in the clutch when clutch handle is out but when pulled in would it stop?

Hitting with the clutch cover that produces the tapping sound.

Mine had the same problem..When the clutch is out there is a tapping noise and when you pull it in slightly it goes away...It's the clutch basket..I got one from a honda dealer around my way for about $220
