Default '94 fuel pump

Haven't ran a fuel pump on my 900 in 3 years, but really sick of having to fill it up so often since I can only go through a half tank before it won't suck anymore gas into the carbs. So basically I'm at the gas station every other day. I'm either looking for anyway to get the rest of the gas to flow freely or replace the fuel pump.

Anyone know if I can use a fuel pump from another bike on the '94 900RR? Or a way to get the rest of the gas to flow out of the tank?

Autozone and Checker sells a fuel pump and flow regulator on their self will work just fine. I think you could do with out the regulator, but with have to regulate it with diff. size nozzles before the gas gets to the carbs.

Thanks, might have to try one of those. Any idea how many PSI the bike needs to be running at? Thought I saw 5-7 somewhere, but want to make sure I get it right.

The maker of the pump is MR.GASKET. As for pressure, I'd be a liar if I said I knew. But I do have the manual downloaded. I'll email you a copy if you'd like.

from what i have read the 93-95 has a fuel pump stock. the 96 dinot have a fuel pump. I can only assume the later years bike didnt have one. Again this is what i have read not sure how true it is. I know my 95 and 96 900rr do not have a fuel pump on them when i bought the bikes.

The manual I downloaded off the net is for a 96 and up. And their is no mention of a fuel pump. (couldn't find the 95 manual) So I would say you are 100% correct.
