94 cbr900

Is there any engine that will easily hook up to my 1994 CBR 900rr other than its original?

I think pretty much any engine swap will be a fairly custom job. In saying that - you would need new lines/hoses along with engine mounts. So, instead of buying a new motor and dealing with headaches trying to get it to fit - you are most likely better off rebuilding yours and then upgrading components (jet kit, exhaust, air filter, chain/sprocket/chainwheel, ect.)

And of course you could always get really wicked and do a custom turbo setup or just rebuild your motor with doing cams, valves, and everything in between.

I have a tick or knock coming from the bottom area of my engine. I was told by a guy at a shop that i had spun a rod. He told me that to rebuild would be much more expensive. (around $1300) and that I could buy a good used engine and then have it installed for $150. Im having a hard time finding a 900 engine. I already dropped the engine. Do you think I should take it somewhere else?

If it was me, I would check around with other people for the best price, if you for sure want to keep this bike. I would also check out ebay for engines (only one I fould so far was a 1995 900rr with 28k for 949$ or make offer)
