Ok my 93 900rr started to make a a slight knocking sound when i was riding home from work. i imediatly throottled down and noticed as soon as i would get to 4grand it would start so i stopped filled the oil a quart over and rode it about 5 miles home.

DO you think the rod bearing got noisy? and if so does any one think the crank and rod might be ok because its not that noisy and is fine at idle.
