Default '93 900 RR work in progress...(finished)

So I've been workin on my bike and since it's almost ready for reassembly I'll get started with some details. Well, this is my 1993 CBR 900 RR. When I bought it it was a nasty lookin pearl orange(IMO). I decided to change the rearend to a '97 cause it's a little bulkier. Now I took all the fairings to the paint shop and painted the wheels and the exhaust at home with basic things off the counter. Here are some pics of the progress so far. As soon as it's reassembeled I'll postup some more pics.

On the day I bought it... No mirrors, torn seat and other lil issues...

Painted both wheels, brake calipersand the exhaustwith aflat black...

InstalledLEDturn signals on the rearsets. I gottheideafrom the "How-To" sec...

This is where I'm at so far... Strong nudity "Viewers discretion is advised"...

Now the entire project is at a standstill until the painter is finished with all the fairings, but the only reason why I started postin it upalreadyis cause I should have it completed and assembeledon "Merorial Day" Monday and I'll definitely put up more pics.

Please give youropinions and/or suggestions. I'm pretty much doin this project on a budgetcause I'm spending more on the paint that anything. My bike has been stuck in the garage for nearly a month now, I'm real eagar to see the outcome.

Thanks man. I changed the spark plugs and cleaned the air filter(K&N) and I run the motor every other day so I won't oxidize the cylinder walls or plugs.

[sm=feedback.gif]I hope ya'll like it. Oh and before I forget, I'm not keeping the sameturn signals, mirrors or windscreen. I'm gonna get flush mount turn signals, new mirrors and a windscreen. I just put these on so I can ride it.

It hasn't been buffed yet, so the paint is gonna look a little better after it's buffed.

Well, I'm sorry but I couldn't afford to get the tailight for the 97 rear end so that's why I didn't take a pic of the tailight. I will be getting on from ebay pretty soon. Check it out, I already put up a few pics of the results.
