Default '93 900 RR

I am relatively new to the CBR world. I was wondering if anyone knew of some "easy" DIY mods I could make to the '93 CBR RR. I am not a SUPER mechanic, but I am pretty good at figuring it out. I was just wondering if anyone knew of some simple things that might change the bike up a bit.

Such as: tail pieces from newer bikes, or subframe changes... anything like that?

P.S. I did however go and read the DIY section and found many MANY great mods, some hopefully I will work up to.

Thanks

Hi there barne041, welcome!

This post will be great for me as well as I too would like to spice up my 93 900RR sometime soon. I have a few cracks and scratches in my bodywork, especially my tailpiece with it coming loose and shifting out of place on very bumpy roads. Fairings here in South Africa are too damn expensive to buy locally, and its only worthwile ordering it from ebay, but I hear those (Hong Kong) fairings are weaker than the stock ones, so I plan to repair the fiberglass and run a new paint job over it.

cheers
