If I were to guess I'd say they're aluminum.

Not sure how much lighter they are than stock, but they're supposed to be.

Yeah, actually one member has just traded his 600F for a 929 ... so I ran to try a 954, but really dont like those injection-engines, much more the turbine-like carburettor

 

I see. Iprefer the carbs on my 900rr too.

Man after living in Germany for six years, we managed to get to a few of the sameplaces that you guys did from looking at the pictures....After checking out allof the pictures you have posted. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

It was a great trip, 7 days and 3600 kilometres. It was raining quite alot the first 3 days, but then the sky cleared and we had 35-40 degress celcius. Oh, and we just planned another trip to the Alps in July, gonna be great!

 

It's always good and exciting to ride with same type of bikes. I do always ride with my buddies but most of the time will be a mixtures of sports bikes, choppers andwingers.. ahhhhh!!!
