Owned her since 1996 (had sold a same color scheme 1993 CBR 600F2 to buy).

Nice Avatar, I remember that pic and have the issue of Motor Cyclist that had it in it as well as a couple of the subscription renewal cards that used it as well. Way back in the day, there was actually a CBR 900rr T-Shirt that I wish I bought when it was all over the zines.

Good catch! Both of those pictures are from the same magazine, which I still have. Notice the AGV helmet that the rider is wearing in the pictures. That was a helmet that had the paint scheme to go along with the 900RR that Honda sold back them. I still have one of those as well, but it is just a show piece now. The liner has all but disentegrated. I used to have the T-Shirt as well, but have no idea what happened to it. Love your bike....C-L-E-A-N!!!

Thanks man. Your ride is pretty sweet as well. I actually have that helmet as well. Bought is on inventory blowout in 96. Already out of its prime, but still wearable at the time. And now, just like yours, a show piece. It was strange, even though the helmet was supposed to be a match for the w/b/r color scheme of the 900rr & 600F2, the red of the helmet was not fluorescent like the bike. My main helmet at the time was an Arai Quantum "retro", which was also not a perfect match, but cool as hell. If you recall, it was that helmet that they made in white with blue and silver flames and a red lightning bolt across the bottom.
