Yeah, the CBR900 Fireblade is kinda like one of those mistresses that you just cant let go of, even though there are more beautiful bikes out there. There wont be a another bike that will feel the same again.
Just gives the right amount of big torque without breaking your neck, right amount of roll on power without crapping in your pants, and the right stability that will keep you out of the Emergency Room.
Trully a well rounded machine.

I'm 6'0" tall, 195 lbs, and 24 years old. The only problem I had with my '94 900RR was my wrists/grip, i know about the numb feeling. Everything else was great, I have a bad back andmy bikedidn't bother it at all. A little bit of a stiff neck after a couple hours riding, could be just because this was my first bike and last season was my first riding. I've been doing grip training over the winter so I should be good this year.

yea, i've got a set of Heavy Grip spring action type grip trainers, http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/hs/grip.html
I started with 100lbs, and now I'm on 200lbs. Has really improved even daily things that involve holding things. Can't tear a phonebook in half or anything though. Also, just simply hanging from a pullup bar or anything that'll get your feet off for a length of time will strenghten your grip. Try starting by holding a pullup bar for 30 seconds at a time, then goto 45, 60, etc. Sounds easy, but after a minute of holding on like that your hands and forearms will be screaming! Monkey bars are good, go down & back, first thing to go when I started those was my grip. Also, if you do anyweightlifting, don't use straps, all that does is take away from your grip strength. Train with freeweights and if you can't grip the bar/dumbell then use a lesser weight. I always see guys at the gym using straps and personally I think its better to train your grip as much as possible. You can look at bodybuilding.com, they have tons of articles on everything, forearm/grip training techniques & tools.

'93 900rr, 6' 2", 210lbs. My only compaint on the comfort issue is when my wife is riding with me. Seems my seat is a little long for me. I try to scoot all the way back so there is not a gap between us when she's on the back, but that's a little uncomfortable. I'm a boxer, and not to brag at all, but I feel like my arms are in pretty decent shape compared to the average joe, yet having her back there strains the arms a bit due to my adjusted seating. She's not a big lady either, though I give her crap about it when we are on a longer trip - I don't recommend making fun of a gal's weight though, even with a boxing background
The other thing is she will sometimes say that the front edges of the passenger seat will dig into the back of her thighs, though I don't see how that can be. She's 5' 9", seems her legs would be more bent...
Just my .02 on the subject, and I know this isn't the right place to say this, but this is my first post and I sure appreciate this site being up to research info specific to my bike!

Welcome to the site! I used to post a lot in the 600f2 section when I had a '93 f2.
My bike and yours are the same year
Tomorrow I will try to ride the bike for as long as possible. I'm gonna try an around the island solo cruise and see how she holds up.
I did it on a '97 VFR 750 and it was okay, though my back was messed up later.
