520 chain conversion ??
#11
Hello, I bought a 520 "Quick Acceleration" kit, I cannot remember the brand but if you goggle it you can find it easily.
Also came with an aluminum rear sprocket that is supposed to be lighter than stock.
No problems so far, but because my bike has Marvic brand rims, it has a different bolt pattern so I had to get a sprocket custom machined to fit my rim.

Best way is to post a picture. I was looking at my Vortex catalog and the 900 uses the same sprocket as a lot of bikes, so it is tough to say without seeing it.

My 900rr had the Marvic rims put on by the previous owner...but if you have stock rims with the multiple, white spokes...they look the same as the VFR and the 600f2 rims, then you should be fine with the 900rr quick acceleration kit, I would think.

Here are the pictures, the sprocket that you see on the cush drive is the Renthal 404U-520 48 thooth that I wanted to use. The sprocket in the grass the one that was on the wheel when I got the bike.
The wheel has some writing that it's a Honda wheel and it says it's an Enkei wheel. Any and all help is much appreciated!!
