Cool man, its just frustrating sometimes whe I type a long message and forget to copy it to the clipboard before posting, and then losing the whole message...

I stopped using IE to open up this forum, it sucks even more. Try safari, the long message won't disappear even after the error.

I went for a ride with my friends bike today, and I have to say this with a red face. Yep, the R6 has 6 gears. I guess my math wasnt as good as I thought. The ratio of it was so short that while shifting like a jackrabbit i may have missed a gear on the count. Still it was no match for the firebreathing, fire eating, monster mashing CBR900RR.

I just had to add the end bit...

So even with 6 gears the R6 is still simply no match for the awesomeness that is the CBR 900RR?

Nice.

I agree hands down. My friend decided to get his first bike and I was afraid to put him on a 900 but he is 320 lbs. we found him a 97 and he loves it and it still takes off like a rocketship with his 320 lb body on it.

So the majesty of the 900rr cannot be denied, even with a guy who weighs 300 plus pounds on top?

This was the bike the pinnacle of the sport bike era. Other bikes can have more horsepower or torque, but I doubt that they can captivate the essence of 900RR. Why do you think we are praising a +-15 year old machine like it has rolled off the showroom floor yesterday?
