Default 17 in. Wheel Conversion

I finally found a 17 in wheel for my 96' 900RR. I ordered a 120/70/17 wheel installed the tire rotors however forgot to balance it befor installing it on the bike. OOOPS! Anyway i have an issue and maybe this is normal but i will ask anyway. when i ride going into a turn i have to fight the bars almost like it wants to turn too hard, meaning i have to keep the bike from turning too much.

When i looked at the specs of the tires there is about 10mm difference in diameter from stock 16 in tire wheel combo. do i have to lower the forks to compensate for this or have i change the geometry too much. i was searching the web befor i decided to go this route but nothing mentioned this issue or even the tire size they used.

Well first off i'll answer your question about where i got the rim. eBay My World - delkevic_us

It was brand new.

I looked at the wheel yesterday and checked the tire pressure again it was down to 20 psi again so i filled it to 60 psi then spreyed a solution of dish liquid and water all over the wheel and tire. well what do you knoe there is one spot that is bubbling between the tire and wheel ever so small you would never have seen it with out the soap. So today when i get home its off with the wheel and resolve the leak balance and back on..

when i filled the wheel to the proper psi i worked great.
