Easiest way to tell is by the diameter of your rotors, I believe 97 and earlier where 296mm and 98-99 were 310's. I just looked at mine and it appears those are the early model rotors, Which would mean that the front end is also earlier. My calipers are also silver and the earlier models were black, Which would also mean the triple trees are early as well. 98-99 are wider than early models, It could be a 600 F3 wheel as well. It is a direct bolt on to the earlier 900's

On a side note, Replace that rotor bolt bud

My bike is actually a 98 model. The wheel looks like the one on ebay that was posted earlier.

LOL I was wrong I have the earlier model forks on my bike 97 model. From center to center I have 8" 98/99 8 1/2"

Only 98-99 had the wider fork spacing and the larger rotors

I guess that could be good, opens up a wider range of front wheel selection to use.

OK just so I dont get my self in a jam, what wheels will fit the 95 to 97 900RR?
