Default 17" rim for 94 900?

Ok folks. Sure someone else has asked this but there isn't a search part on my phone app..
Wanna change out to get better tire choices for a friend.
Thanks!

95 to 98 Honda CBR 600 F3 front wheel. Good luck finding a straight one for a decent price.

You'll need some spacers and F3 roters too. Well worth it any 17inch wheel handles better than that stupid 16

Thanks. Original calipers will match up with 600 rotors?

I recently read F3 wheel, F3 rotors, 900 calipers, 900 spacers, and you're good to go. 98 and up 900 wheel swap is a little different.

From what I've read 98 and up, something about the forks are different so the calipers wont line up with the f3 rotors, and the speedo is not front wheel driving on the 98 and up. But on 93, 94, and 95, its a staight swap. My friend did it on a 95 way back when in 95. I believe. The really only advantage is tire choices for the 17" wheel compare to the 16". The overall diameter and circumfrence is pretty much the same for each. So all things being equal theres no handleing difference between the two. The 16" tire has a taller sidewall compared to the 17" so any handleing benefits are only the better tire choice of the 17".

I remember the pistons on one side each caliper would stick out more than the other. Didn't really effect anything

I have a 600f2 front end on my 900rr and the 17" wheel is awesome!
