i just painted mine today.....just make sure you paint the underside of it and it comes out nice,glossy. Looks like it came off the show room that way, and its alot easier to see the gages in the day time..

The Puig screens are the nicest I've seen so far. They have some that are identical to the OEM style, just dark smoke. They're about $75 bucks (cheaper on eBay).

do you think i would have left the painted windscreen on there if i thought it looked ghetto?? no. you people think that just because its spray paint its a cheap crappy job. but if done correctly it does have a nice look to it. and im sorry that i dont go fast enough where i have to tuck down and look through the windscreen. its a shame i didnt spend 75 bucks on something im never gonna look through

In my case I know I suck at painting and I know I would suck even more at spray painting so I wouldn't do it.
My preference though is more of a tinted see thru look.

I agree with you that agood painter, a skilled person, can make anything look professional.
