Default why are honda left out

has anybody ever raced any other bikes like yamaha r6 or suzuki and how did it go. Today i raced a yamaha r6 with a power comander and other mods im not sure what else he had, buy anyways i lost, i didnt loose by too much maybe a bike length or so and my bike doesnt have anymods on the engine what i want to know is it seems more people buy yamahas and suzukis than hondas. I watch a show called super bikes on speed channel and never do i see hondas. Why is this? are the bikes better or what i havent been in the bike seen very long, i mean i think my bike kicks *** but i just need to know whats the big deal with these other bikes.

I have always considered the Honda motorcycle to be more refined than other makes. Not always as fast though. The R6 is a really fast bike as is the Susuki.

not to knock your skills but these bikes are all very similar in power/performance that it basically comes down to rider skills. maybe he was a better rider (better launch, shift, etc) and that was the reason you lost.

people buy more of the other brands because they don't know any better. haha.. j/k to each his own. i love my honda.. always have and always will

when i was in the tampa area the dealers were selling gixxers left & right. i talked to a guy who just bought one and he actually wanted the RR but it was more expensive so he ended up getting a new gixxer.

I raced a buddy of mine with a 2001 Gixxer 3 times and he kept up with me the first but I wheelied in 1st 2nd and 3rd. The last 2 races, I stomped him bad.

I dont like Gixxers because they have such fatass tanks. They are huge and they have the ugly A$$ out dated Hayabusa. Which everyone still thinks is the fastest bike in the world. I tell ya, Ride the new ZX14R and see what you think after that.

I just like Honda because I wanted a CBR since I was little. Riding a Honda just makes me feel better.....inside.

Try modding your bike with a rider replacement kit [8D]

The first show I saw of Super Bikes, the host was tearing it up with a CBR600rr...wheeling better than I've seen anyone wheelie on one of our bikes!

Why is it when some people lose races they blame the machine...is it that hard to accept?
