hey, i bring my 600 in every day/night. I gotta brick in front of the step so it makes it easier to push it into the house. I also let it cool down for about an hour before i bring it in ther is much less smell that way. I don't drive it or power it thruogh the doorway either, thats probably just asking for trouble. Also I dont start the bike in the house, for what? good luck.

I remember when I first bought my bike. The dealership was here in town, but I asked them to deliver it the next day because the weather had been really shi**y the whole week. They said that they'd be there at 11AM, but I was already up, out sitting on my porch, with my coffee and smokes, at 7:30AM. When they got there, Toby, the ASM, asked,"Where do you want it at, Dave?" I was like,"Inside." They couldn't put it inside themselves, due to their insurance stuff, so they pushed it on the porch. We all sat there and talked for a few. When they left, I was going to take a ride, but it was starting to lightning, so, I opened the front door and started pushing it inside. It was a bi*ch getting it inside, sord of, just because the staircase was like, right there by the door, but I managed to get it in. I moved it around until it was right there in the living room, right beside me, watching MotoGP. Well, then my exxx fiance came home, and oh God, she wouldn't stop bi*ching..."What in the hell is this doing inside?!?!?" It took her awhile, but she got over it. The only bad thing? Just as another member said, whenever I had people over, they'd want to touch it or hear it run, so finally I went down to the office and luckily they had a garage available, for an extra $50 fing bucks a month though! lol, now I live in a duplex, with an attached garage. I mean, if you have to, yeah, definately keep it inside, but if they have them available, rent out a garage from your complex. I'd never keep a bike outside. I'd keep it at my parents house before I'd leave it outside. I mean, there are some f*cked up, lame as*, low life, dirtballs out there, and if they want "that" bike, they'll find a way to take it, alarm or no alarm, lock or no lock. Keep us posted and let us know how everything goes!

I Just bought a 04, trailered it home didnt have insurance or registered yet and the garage I keep it in needed a new lock so I wheeled it into my townhouse. I was only goign to keep it there for about week untill i got everything set up. About a day goes by and I get a call for the old bastards on the board flipping out threanting they are going to call the cops and its a huge fine and they are going to call he police to have them remove it and put a lein on my house and all this other bull**** if i didnt move it immediately. So basically, i had to ride with no insurance or registration to a garage with no lock, talk about stress. luckly i was able to get a lock on the garage the next day but still i was pissed. I told the board to f$%k themselves and now when mmy buddies come by on there bike or if im alone i going to make it a point to make as much noise as possible right in front of there units at all and any hours of the day. I would check the rules of where you are going to live because if its not allowed and you have to move it you may be screwed luckily in my case i had a place to keep it.

Just my $.02

I'd bring her inside if I was you. If I had an apartment on the second floor i'd still drive her *** up the stairs lol, or the elevator. Does putting a bike in an elevator violate fire code? Hmmm I don't think so, cause of that damn "in case of fire use stairs" sign lol
