alright, i want to see if i am the only one that has a wheelie problem? not in getting it up, never that! i have a problem with keeping it down, it seems that every break i get away from traffic it feels like i must wheelie, i just get a rush of adrenaline! stand ups, and sit downs i was wonderin if ne one wheelies as much as i do, or maybe do i have a death wish? cuz i love it & can't get enough of em, though i know i will one day and it may get the best of me but i will worry bout that day when it comes, i also know people that have been riden for months up to 4 and 5 and cant wheelie no offense to those that fit that category but, o ya by the way im on an 06 600 rr no mods i'm workin on a video with sum friends will be posted soon....

Ahhhh yes my brother i too suffer from your affliction....sit down's, standups, staggered, rear pegs, clutchin, bouncin.......i can't help it!!!! thank god we've got a 1/4 mile strip 5 minutes from my house in an industrial park where the cops leave us alone, so i get to satisfy that craving.
If i may, i highly recommend the -1/+2 conversion. HUGE difference. Bounce my bike up in 5th gear on the highway and rode one for about a mile. Stupid, i know---prolly won't ever do that one again. But i can say that i can!!! lol

P.S.---lang, slippin the clutch is totally a feel thing. I prefer to bounce my wheelies, unless i'm sittin down, in which case i clutch. Keep workin on it---it'll come!!!!

yeah, slipping the clutch takes a little more finesse than just powering it up. and it could damage your clutch plates in the learning process. its best to learn on some POS dirtbike, since they crash pretty cheaply....same thing for friend's bikes, lol. the good thing about clutching it up is that the bike stands up at a much lower rpm, so you have more time to ride it out in that gear before you are forced to come back to earth, or try to shift.
regardless, im with you speed demon, im up on the back tire whenever im in front of an all girl's school, or passing a car full of girls on the highway, lol. you gotta wave too, especially if they are with a guy, hahaha.
