What would you pay for a 2007 600RR 2,300 miles
I did notwant to keep bogarting the other thread, so starting my own.
Beloware the details on the bike and the info I got from meeting with the guy yesterday.
He hasonly ran it on the street like 4 times, so guessing ~300 street miles max.
The rest of the miles were from track days, he said he did ~6-8 of them since having it.
Very clean bike, no damage at all just some wear from track days, tape and boots on the swing arm.
The guy had the original box for the exhaust and the PCIII, very meticulus.
White/Silver/Black
3,200 miles
Leo Vince titanium/carbon slip-on
Dynojet PCIII
Goodridge stainless lines
Vesrah RJL pads
Several sets of tires (track knock offs?)
Stock parts included (exhaust, brake lines, tires)
Oil cap, plug and filter all safety wired
Running Red Line synthetic oil
Title in hand.
$6800.00
Let me know what you guys think.....
Thanks in advance.

Thats a lot of track days. And if he only did roughly300miles on the street, he didnt even break the bike in.I would make sure everything is good // brakes, engine, etc by a mechanic. I would offer 6,400 - 6,500 if everything checks out.

He said he broke the bike in, but no following the manual.
He followed one guys site that goes against the manual.
He was saying that after ~20 miles hard in 2nd gear and immediately chainging the oil, allows for a better seal on the piston rings.
I'll email him and see if he can forward me a link to it.
The Vesrah pads should be ok, but even still I'm not opposed to having to change them out.

I mean, what exactly can a mechanic do to check out an engine without tearing it apart.
I mean, technically the engine is designed to be ran at those high RPM's.
In talking to the mechanic at the local honda dealarship, who has a race team, he said it shouldn't be a problem.
The RR they have has been through many more track days than his and he hasn't had to do anything to the engine.
Yes, the Leo Vince is off the bike as well as the PCIII.
He took them off because he was thinking about trading the bike in on a Vespa or a SuperMoto bike.
He said the dealership wouldn't give him any thing extra for the bike with those parts on it, so he was just going to sell them separately.
Now Ijust have to decide on either this or a 03' 954 w/ 7,000 miles for even less money...
