I ve reached 600 miles on my 07 and I want to change my oil what oil do you guys recommend?

 

I donno, WHAT DOES YOUR OWNERS MANUAL SAY???

 

You really should have a 600-mile checkup done, not just an oil change. It cost about $80-90 bucks, and they check everything, including changing your oil. Just take it to a trusted dealer.

 

Yea i to am at the 600 mile mark, well a little over.. my local stealership says 150 + parts... ouch i wish it was only 90... but ill take my vasaline with me so they can atleast lube me up to...

 

600 mile check up, Check chain tension, check fluids, not worth me giving them 150 for something i can do myself..Dealerships are garbage.

 

Find a different dealership or bike shop to do the 600 mile maintenance. I found that if I can't go to my dealer (which is awesome, but an hour away), the local Yamaha dealer is VERY good compared to the local Honda dealer (which sucks tremendous *****).

 

600 miles checkup is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. i dont know anyone that changed or adjusted anything on their brand new bikes until 3k miles.

 

how often should the chain be lubed? and tension checked? on a normal mileage bike..like mine's got 6k...

 

AMS HP is the best oil to use period.
