I'm a rider who doesn't care where I'm going, as long as I'm on my bike. Same goes when I'm in my car. I'll randomly take a road I've never taken before and ride it as far as I please (knowing I have a map on hand, just in case.) I do not stunt, and I probably never will. I love track days and destroying a brand new set of tires at it. I STRONGLY support motorcycle safety and superbike classes. Everyone has to learn, but the difference is hard or easy.

I'm not really a bar type of guy........actually, I'm not really an alcohol type of guy. I really don't enjoy getting drunk. Personally, I think it's something you did back in high school because it was "cool" because it was illegal. Now, it's just drinking.....and for what? Me on a bike is 1000 times more enjoyable than any amount of alcohol.

And for some odd reason, I'm more of a solo guy. Riding in a group is fun in small doses, but can be hectic sometimes (especially with newer riders not knowing what to do). I prefer to be alone on some back road the majority of the time.............or at a track (with riders that DO know what to do). But, that's just me.

 

I always wanted to ride, and now having had my bike a year, I love it more than I thought I would have.

I enjoy the twisties, slow corners and practicing being smooth. Getting on and off the throttle and flicking
the bike without giving myself and 'oh-****' moment. I think we'd all agree that when you get home from a good ride,
you really feel like you've done something. Driving a car is so passive, but riding these babies really makes you
work.

I support riding safety, use as much sensible gear as possible,Ialways wave, and always rev it up for kids in the back seat of a car beside me ( I remember being that kid ). No wheelies or stunts, and I only drink on my couch. I have come to terms with the fact that the limits of this bike (06 600RR) are well beyond my own, and I ride accordingly.

I love the freedom, and the ability for a good ride to fix almost any 'work-related' problems or frustrations. Exploring new roads is awesome, even when occassionally it becames a gravel road ! Seeing my own (gradual) improvements is cool and I really look forward to my first track day - hopefully this summer.

i ride to look cool, i thought thats why everyone did it?

 

i am a smart but at the same time dumb rider...haha. i like to crack it open on the roads but i don't like pulling tricks too much. i like to ride because it gives me time to think and to relax. it is my way to get rid of all the stress around me. thats why i ride.

I didn't want to ride, I just wanted to PW on these MC boards but abad told me I had to ride if I wanted to PW here.

 

I ride to have fun and forget about all the BS in my life I don't have time for BS so I ride and i ride and I ride and I ride.........
