Why not do the basics?
Might Isuggest some stainless break lines and some good pads(if you don't have those already).
The next step is a good set ofrubber...Michelin Pilot Powers, or Dunlop Qualifiers.
Like most of the others here, set your suspension (Sport rider has a pretty comprehensive suspension tech and settings page.).
After all, what's the sense in having loads of extra power if you can't get it to the ground.

The best bang for the buck as far as performance goes is a sprocket change. The stock sprockets are 16 up front and 43 in the back. Most people go with a 520 conversion 15/45 combo. I went 520 15/44. Nice difference in acceleration. It will cut down on your top end but that's not a big deal if you aren't topping out your bike often. As the guys said above suspension is a key component in getting your bike to perform like you want but suspension is costly most of the time unless you know someone who does it professionally.

What are you doing with the OEM rearsets I will buy them off you if you get the moto gp ones let me know.
