well how do you do?! hahaha
so i got my F4i back from my buddies shop yesterday. i tooled around on it in the neighborhood and i swear i love this bike. the '08 RR is nice, lik.e......REALLY nice, but i cant forget where i came from . this F4i went through hell and back (30k miles in ONE year, it was my daily driver)and has yet to let me down. it was considered "totaled" by my insurance co. but i think it was more out of year/mileage than price of damage. i have it rideable for under $300 . im actually riding it to work one last time before i turn in the tags and cancel insurance on'er and begin getting it ready for track days (i've never done one, but this bike is going to become my track bike). i learned a hard lesson w/ my last accident, and plan to keep the hard leans at the track.
well anywho, here's a pic i took when i got home. feels pretty cool to have two bikes . its l.ike two dogs, haha....sniffing each others *** to get aquanted. F4i checking out the new roomate in the garage........

I loved my F4i, I felt a little tug at my heart as the new owner drove off on my white and red F4i. I had similiar plans when I had an 07 rr and an 01F4i. one was going to be a track bike.
Before I actuallypurchased the RR, I had actually already completely converted the F4i over to track ready. I had race plastics, rear sets, and a few other things, but had decided that the F4i, while still a fantastic bike on the street, just didnt have what I wanted on the track. It didnt have the midrange of the new rr, so I was getting eating alive driving off the corners, and I was at the point that I was looking to seriouslyupgrade my suspension. moreand more money on the old girl.
Then I came acrossa deal on an 07rr, and I basically traded up for like $800 after selling the F4i and never looked back.
well, thats kinda a lie. I do miss the F4i, but I'm loving the RR for street and track.
