Okay, I'm about fed up with a few guys at the dealership. I'm like their #1 cuctomer, lol, and having a 600, all of them asked me," So, what do you think of the 2007?", I tell them my honest answer," I f**king hate it! It's not Honda, if I wanted a Yamaha, I'd buy a Yamaha!..." etc., so anyways, then they tell me," You know, I've heard alot of people say the same thing(s)...you know what the problem is, you guys are jealous/pissed. Anyone that has an '03-'06, that bought it new, is pissed, they want the new technology and looks, had it then but can't have it now, so now they're "not cool"...", seriouslly, they say all kinds of dumb ****. So, to everyone with the same feelings as me on the 2007, or their own...Are we pissed? Are we jealous?

yeah theres not a thing i would wanna change about my 05 600rr... there will always be something bigger better and with the newest technology

 

i like that its lighter and a lil more power just sad to see how much it looks like a yamaha...[:'(]

Didclaimer: I'm still undecided about the 07, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it in person, although I don't like the front in the pictures, and the brakelight, the rest I think doesn't look too bad

 

Yea its ugly the reason I got the CBR was because it looked the best out of the bikes I have seen. I love how the front, mid, and lower firings look. Not to much detail almost prototype and it flows nicely. But now its all these edges everywhere, the black model is not even all black.

 

dude, dont sweat it. in my opinion, everyone that works at any dealership is a tool. they barely know anything about the vehicles they are selling.

for example, i was looking at buying a nissan 350z up until the point where the dude swore on his life it was front wheel drive. also i was picking my roomate up from the ford dealer when i asked them about the new f-250s. even though the lifts said procomp on them, they swore it was some "new" brand i forgot what they made up.

 

I still say everybody is blowing the "it looks like a yamaha" thing out of proportion
the only similarity is the centered air intake but that was on the RC-51 first then the aprilia and THEN on the R6
everything else seems to have been new ideas or taken from the 1000RR
and btw the 07 600RR has been in developement since LONG before the 06 R6 was released

 

Not yet anyway, I'll wait till they come with navi.

 

you would want to wait until the '08 or '09 came out anyway. if you are going to make that type ofpurchase get the ones with the new upgrades to that style or get the '07 used at a good price. (look at the '03-'04 vs '05-'06)
