RE: The Verdict on my 140mph Speeding Ticket
One of the crappiest things to come out of the information age is that all the states are connected. So if you drive in another state and you happen to get pulled over then the cops puter will more likely than not show that you gots a suspended license. After the 30 days goes by you may want to check with state you're licensed in to make sure the suspension is gone.
I'm amazed that you got off so easy. Did ya hire a mouthpiece or defend yourself?

Na, The judge was cool. When they called my name she looked at the ticket and smiled. Then she asked me if i wanted to plead guilty or not guilty.... i said no contest.... so she just let me know that it was a mandatory 30 day suspension of my license and dropped the fine from $500 to $317. The dumb bailiff was like," 140 mph is very fast" and the whole court room was like DAMN!!!!! I was expecting the judge to give me the whole talk about how i could have killed someone and myself but they didn't.

In my state (MI), if you are licensed out of state, say WI, and MI suspends your driving priveledges in MI, then you can't drive in MI. They suspend the priveledge, not the license because it was not issued in MI. I don't believe it affects the state you are licensed in, since they have their own guidelines, laws, etc. But I would check on the state where you are licensed through to see if they would also suspend you. One thing is for sure, don't drive on the license in the state that suspended you. In MI, it is an arrestable offense, though some areas only issue tickets for it.
