You have to do the same thing on the 05-06 RR's as well. The Tail has to come off to get to the bolts.........so I did it when I did the FE kit (since I already had the tail off).

As for the seat cowl, the pics above are a little dated, I've had the cowl for a few months now................

^^ Not rim tape. It's just plain, simple, quarter-inch red pin-striping I picked up a checker. Why pay more than 5 bucks for pre-curved, pre-cut wheel stripes, when pin-striping goes on so well, and looks exactly the same (I actually prefer it to rim tape).

I laid my pin-striping on the bubbled edge of the wheel, so it makes the wheels look bigger, and the tires smaller. Overall, more aggressive in appearance.

I checked out the Hotbodies undertail exhaust kit myself.. dont like the way it sounds. Its more high-pitched, and it is loud. The loud I like, but I went with a Leo Vince slip-on as it has a lower pitched growl sound, and to me it rocks. Comp Werks has a great fender eliminator that mounts up by the rear shock... nothing hangin out by the pipe or rear tire. You could easily make one yourself... I should have, but had the cash.
