Ha. no bullchit and no homo...Im going akra for sure...nothing sounds better to me...Im just going to do the slip on though!.....Ryan I will not disclose my address to you

I've got an odd question....my throttle tube/grip has a little play in it...as in I can turn it a tad with no throttle/cable registering fuel....Im sure this is fine and not out of the norm but is there any way to tighten it up?

Also.....If anyone on this board has a standard (not double bubble) zg smoked windscreen and wants to trade for a zg tinted double bubble let me know! (cough Nate.....cough)

Tempting my friend.....

You'd probably find some sucker to take this deal though - i'd try posting up its own thread on the possible swap and maybe try 600rr.net too

My throttle tube/grip has a little play in it...as in I can turn it a tad (it will spin) before the throttle/cable pulls/engages - registers fuel....Im sure this is fine and not out of the norm but is there any way to tighten it up?

Also...my clutch lever has a small amount of play in it vertically! I can move it up and down....how do I tighten this!

Thanks!

The throttle cable will have a little play in it before it pulls the cable so that is normal. I think the only way to adjust it is at the throttle bodies so you would have to pull the tank and what not to get to it and that would be a lot of work.

For the clutch, mine as a little vertical play as well. You can tighten up the silver screw to see if that has anything to do with it. If not then its normal and nothing to worry about.

Thanks Ryan ya I figured it was that screw but Im pretty sure its tight! My F4i didnt have this much verticle movement? I wonder why clutch levers have ANY verticle play/movement in them whatsoever as there is really no reason for it?! It should be snug! More than anything, it just annoys me when it moves vertically, makes me feel like its a flimpsy part!

So I've noticed a TINY amount of oil splotches on my clutch cover. It is primarily near this breather tube (I assume its a breather tube/PCV system component?) and actual clutch cover gasket! Its not enough to worry me but its annoying...I asked about it over on 600rr.net and one guy said he has the same issue and its no biggie.....does anyone have this issue and if so, wtf, and where the eff is it coming from...common sense tells me its not normal so have even a drop of oil seeping from any engine part but others seem to think its ok! Any experience with this?! The splotching is right near the tube with the white dot on it as well as gasket near it

I can send it to you for $10, or whatever it costs me to ship by priority mail. PM me if you want it. It's been sitting here ever since I bought my bike, doing nothing
