Bikes don't have trans oil. Engine oil is used in the transmission too. So yes, changing the oil will effect your trans.

That's why if you change to synthetic, you do not go back to regular oil and even changing brands of synthetic oil is not good. Choose one and stick with it.

I use Repsol full synthetic 10W40.
