Second place by a narrow margin were the Bridgestone BT-016's. Had a set of them mounted a while back and have put a few hundred miles on them, so far I'm completely in love with them. Sticky as all hell when leaned and very stable, can't really comment on wear but considering the price difference between them and pilots I'm not overly concerned (got a full set off of ebay for $245). Gotta love multi compound tires.

 

Depends on where you get them I suppose, alot of actual brick and mortar stores sell on ebay nowadays, not just random guys selling out of their garage. Can often get better prices from ebay than the actual store. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ sells on ebay as well as from their website. Speaking of which, bought a ton of stuff from that site and they are having a tire sale right now, their prices are usually pretty good. Yanked my wheels off and brought them into a dealer for mounting and balancing, cost me 60 bucks, so for a grand total of around 300 bucks I got the set from ebay and had them mounted, not too shabby.
