To shoortbuss:

With all due respect 'shoortbuss', you need to take a chill pill and understand that we newbies to the forum are learning the ropes and not every one is an experienced rider such as yourself. You toowere once a squid with a strong passion for motorcycles and safe riding. So if you would like to share your knowledge with the rest of us fine but make it constructive and spare me the sarcasm.

Thanks to all who genuinely answered my post.

In his defence there are ALOT of tire threads, and they all say the same damn things.

anyways, i ride qualifiers, not to impressed, they are rubber, they stick most of the time, i am probably going to try something else when these wear out, for all i know it is my riding that is the problem.

if you have a 180 rim, dont run 190s, it will change the profile of the tire (pinching it down to about 180) from what i have read and it wont give you any better grip or handling. (it could even make it worse)

Default RE: Tires

It has nothing to do with riding experience...I can't even drag a knee...But I've been able to perform an internet search since I started using computers...

And 2CTs are really only necessary if you are dragging some serious knee...Otherwise, you are wasting your money on an upgrade you don't need. As stated, I don't drag knee, but I usually burn out my chicken strips within 2 weeks and I'm running the regular Pilot Powers...never had an issue w grip yet.
