Default Tires

I'm due for tires on my '05 CBR 600RR and was contemplating dual compound technology as my riding is a good combo of fwy during the week and canyon on wknds. Does anybody have feedback on this tire technology on streetbikes? I'm running Pilot Powers now and like them a lot. Additionally, can I run190's in the rear without much impact to the suspension and drivetrain? I would like a meaner aesthetics. Much appreciated. Gracias.

I've heard good things about the new Bridgestone Battlax BT-016
(Dual compound front, and triple compound rear)

The BT-015 is OEM for the 07 600RR and is just a slight step below the -016

Oh man, thank God somebody has finally brought up this subject, because it's something that is just NEVER talked about and it's important. I mean, just the other day I did a search on this forum for "pilot power 2ct" and it only returned 138 results, which isn't nearly enough information about this subject. Thank you so much for asking this question.

To shoortbuss:

With all due respect 'shoortbuss', you need to take a chill pill and understand that we newbies to the forum are learning the ropes and not every one is an experienced rider such as yourself. You toowere once a squid with a strong passion for motorcycles and safe riding. So if you would like to share your knowledge with the rest of us fine but make it constructive and spare me the sarcasm.

Thanks to all who genuinely answered my post.
