Man I read this thread today and low and behold I left my house and got a ticket. I was on this wide open road and was going about 50 and im coming up to a intersection. well right across the intersection is a cop. I come to a normal stop, he just sits there, and waves me through, I turn left and sure enough the ahole pulls me over. he said he clocked me at 48 and proceeded to ask for my licence. Now here I am with 5 min to get to work and I tell him that its a pretty new bike and that I was sorry for speeding, Pretty much kissing his *** hoping for a little Moday morning sympthy, Yea boy he really felt my pain, the jerk gives me a 155 dollar ticket and then says " I cut you a break and only wrote it for 38mph. well it turns out this ahole gives me a $155 ticket for going 3mph over the speed limit. As he explains the ticket I tell him quite sarcastily " Gee thanks for cutting me a break" He says " no problem, have a great day." I leave by telling him " I hope your day sucks and to get a life" By the way im not the nicest person in the am when im running a couple min behind for work. Now I know I was wrong for speeding but ya gotta be kidding me! As a formal cop I never gave one ticket to anyone whom addmitted they were wrong and was very polite, This guy must be hard up or had his *** kicked on a regular basis in schoole or something. Anyway im sure he is going to be keeping an eye out for me now. Oh well Hope everyone else is having a better day than me.[:@][:'(][>:]

 

I'd rather fork over four big ones to go to California Superbike School for a day than spend a possible five to do 160 for a minute or so.

 

im sorry bro... i was nice and polite to the cops that pulled me over also, well that didnt do sh*t anyway life moves on just be safe... and we all have our bad days dont worry about it...

 

If you're really a former cop, why didn't you tell him...if anything that would have got you out of the ticket!

 

its kinda a unwritten rule that if you are no longer a officer that you dont say anything unless you still have your old badge. I really dont think it would have mattered with this ahole, I could tell he was the one guy in the dept that everyother guy hated. Oh well I can always pray that he gets crabs from some dirty hooker!
