ORIGINAL: Jet Jockey Z06 Vette

Take a look especially at the "Biker With Helmet Cam-Crashes Hard" video clip and tell me what you think was going on there?

Was rider in the best place in the lane?
What caused the car on the left to suddenly swerve out of control into his lane?
What options did the rider have?

Trying to learn quickly, as most of the wrecks are newbies from what I read / hear at MSF course.
I think he was doing everything pretty well..... EDIT "negative was in the "right most motorcycle lane"(didnt notice it the first time through) and then listen it takes him about 1 to 1.5 sec to roll of the throttle granted it does take a bit to go from perception to a physical response maybe he didnt have the brake lever covered or maybe his mind was still at work BUT in that traffic you should be on high aleart" EDIT...... maybe he didnt notice the car pulling the E-brake quick enough but maybe he was looking ahead ur eyes cant be everywhere at once.....the solution I think would have been to go left maybe you couldnt see that far into the future when that mess started but deff the cagers a retard

as for the site its very good very well done seen it before seen it again, makes me wana put my bike away for a little while espically when i think about the amount of fear riding caused when i first started vs what it causes now........... any ideas?

when you started fly zo6 it was kinda intemidating but now its becomes like driving to work hard to balance hopefully the mental thought and anguish will be enough to always keep us aleart ........amen

Thoseimages really make you think when you are out riding.
Always wear your gear no matter if your just running to the store or going for a day trip. Only idiots don't wear helmets or other gear. Road rash isnt fun. I have known a few people that have benn thru it , itisnt pretty or fun.

We all know this happens, and we all know the dangers but thats why most (hopefuly all) of us ride wearing the correct gear. This specific forum is about the CBR600RR. It is a quick bike, 120hp in something so small, of course it can hurt you. I always deem you should wear fully leather on the road as well as the track, if you think you look stupid then just look at that link and those who didn't, their body and skin has been destroyed by road rash etc.

Bikes are fun, and the danger and adrenalin is part of the fun. It's a risk we all take whenever we get on any bike.

lol, we could probably keep it going...

You know what bothers me most though is that many of the drivers got off with a slap on the wrist. even the one who purposefully hit the rider. But then again i have first hand experience of that so i am not surprised. Just did not know it was so wide spread
