y is it sooo annoying...the only real annonyance accoridng u all is bcuz of the "ii"...? there arent even that many of them. like ii sed b4...Sry...but if u dont like it, keep it movin and go play in traffic or something.

Anyway. My accidental power wheelies only got the front wheel off the ground NO more than a foot at the most. I thought "quick thinking" would have allowed you to immediately roll off the throttle (if possible), pull the clutch inor apply rear brake. Maybe you weren't aware that the rear brake is your savior to get the front back down like MMG and BeVert said.
I think it's a good idea practicing baby wheelies. That way, when you accidentally pop one, you'll feel somewhat comfortable.
BTW, I'm not sure how much the steering damper "saved" you on this one...if you came down going straight on a smooth road, there shouldn't have been much of a difference w/no damper.

Oh, and when you're "up there" it usually feels like you're pulling a 12 o'clocker when you're really only about a foot off the ground. If you were up 3 or 4 feet, that's about 12 o'clock. Were you really that high or do you thinkit just felt that way?
