does anyone know if a 2005 tail fairing will fit on a 2004 bike? what is the compatibility from 03-05?

 

found out that it wont fit, so i have a black tail fairing in great shape if any one needs one. fits 05-06 models.

im pretty new to the forum and i have never posted pics before. tell me how and i will. but to doscribe it a little better. i bought it off ebay and when i got it i noticed that it had a key hole inthe middel where the back of the front seat is way before i noticed that it wouldn't fit my bike, so before i noticed that it wouldn't fit, i had the key hole filled and that area flushed out with fiberglass and painted, so it looks like an 03-04 seat in that aspect so you would have to either try to relocate your seat lock or drill out the hole for the lock again. sorry i took so long to reply. ill check the thred more often guys.

my bike was vandalized while i was in GA but i didn't have full coverage, luckaly that was the only thing that was damaged. and i work on aircraft so im haveing a friend fix the quite long crack in mine and all i have to do get it painted again. with that 05 fairing and getting mine fixed ive almost spent enugh money to buy a new one.

 

just sold on e-bay for 35$ and has 19 hrs and 35 min left as of 1-21-06 @ 3:27 pm EST.
