Default swingarm spools

I just received my woodcraft swingarm spools in the mail and was wondering if alot of riders, when finished using the rear stand take them off for riding or leave em on for extra protection.I ask becauseI read pucks may scrape a curb in extreme leans and cause a crash.

Mine stay on cuz my bike goes back on the rear stand when i'm done riding. BTW, what kind of crazy leaning are you doing that you'd ever scrape the rear spools!?? You'd scrape your footpegs before the spools.

Helmet scraper, lol. Sorry, I was referring to 'spool sliders' which have the larger puck, than swingarm spools.I wasnt sure if it was a good idea to even havespool sliders because ofreading (on Targa)that when they extend out alot like some frame sliders, they may hit a curb in a low lean and raise the wheel, causing a crash. I meant to get the small spoolsbut ordered the sliders by mistake.

I was asking about spool sliders (not swingarm spools) and how they stick out a bit likeframe sliders. Anyhow, I'll keep mine on too, thanks!

If you scrape the woodcraft spool sliders..... you're sliding on the ground alongside your bike. Trust me

He's worried them hitting a curb not the road. I don't think leaning in that close to the curb will shave any seconds off your trip to the supermarket..
