I've got an 06 600RR that i laid down on the right side, my question is; Is there a difference in the rearsets from the 03-04 to the 05-06 bikes? And if there is, would it make it weird to ride with two different ones? I've got a guy who will sell me a complete right rearset off a 03 for $30, and with moeny being an issue, I'm looking for an easy fix, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

 

The only difference between the 2 years is the....

~ Main Step, Bracket Right Side (which I don't understand because the Peg thats being held by that bracket is the same part number for both bikes)
~ Holder, Right side (You'll need to motify the '03s holder just a tad, but 100% doable)

Everything else on the right side is identical.

And I know Sato, Gilles, Vortex make aftermarket rearsets for '03 -'06. Doesn't look like you'll have a problem installing the '03 rearset.
